Kumihimo is the ancient art of braiding cord to create supple and silky ropes, perfect for hanging beaded pendants. It's very easy to do and needs minimal materials to get started. All you need is a kumihimo loom or disc, bobbins and some lengths of satin cord or rat tail. Take a look at Jill's YouTube channel for help getting started with the braiding. As you build up confidence you can add beads and other elements to your braided ropes.
